Another positive afternoon yesterday for AFC Pegasus Reserves as pre-season preparations continued with a 4-1 victory over Stanway Rovers Reserves. 💛🖤

With Stanway Rovers returning to the Essex & Suffolk Border League this season, it was a great test against familiar opposition and another encouraging performance from the squad.

AFC Pegasus Reserves pre season friendly 11th July.

The reserves lost in their first pre season friendly 5-1 to a Coggeshall team that are a few weeks ahead of us in preseason and who will be starting the season off as the favourites to win promotion from the Thurlow Nunn south.

A young Pegasus squad made up of over 50% of players from the under 23's and under 18's, providing them with great experience.

Lots of positives to take from the game and a fantastic to see the youth showing the future of the club is bright.💛🖤

Football is about more than results.

It's about the people who turn up week after week, giving their time, energy and support to help others succeed.

This Father's Day, we're thanking all the dads and positive role models who make a difference throughout our club.

All the best to Joel Taylor who is unfortunately moving on.

Having played for both the under 23's and the reserves for the last two seasons, Joel is relocating to the United States after successfully securing a college scholarship.

Not only will he sorely missed on the pitch, but also off of it, It has been a pleasure to have seen his development not just as a footballer, but as young man.
