The only bike hire centre in the Forest of Dean with traffic free access to both leisurely Family Cycle Trail and a wealth of Mountain Bike Trails for all abilities. Family bikes and accessories available for hire including child seats, tagalongs, trailers plus a variety of mountain bikes to suit all abilities including e-bikes & gravel bikes. One of the best trail centres in the country with a range of waymarked routes to suit all abilities - from gentle off-road family rides, technical cross-country routes to full on downhill lines (you may even see some World Cup riders in training).

FOD FEST IS ALMOST HERE! (Sorry for shouting, we are a little bit excited!)

You may have spotted the signs around the Cycle Centre… or maybe you’ve seen it pop up while ordering your limited edition FOD Fest T-shirt. Not ordered yours yet? You’ve got until Sunday!

Who's joining us for Late Night Thursday Flavour Club tomorrow?

It’s looking like perfect riding weather, especially when there’s CHICKEN WINGS waiting for you afterwards.

This week’s Late Night Thursday Flavour Club is all about the wings:

🧄 Garlic Parmesan
🌶️ Pineapple Habanero
🌱 Cauliflower wings

Plus Dirty Cajun Fries loaded with cheese sauce, spring onions, crispy onions & ranch drizzle, and some Pickle Slaw for the illusion of eating your greens!

🍽️ Café specials: 5.30pm–8.15pm
🌅 Sunset: 7.20pm
🚿 Toilets & showers: open until 9pm
🍺 Beer & cider: on tap all night (plus non-alcoholic options too!)

The final Little Fodders race of 2026 is happening on Saturday 3rd October and spaces are now nearly sold out!

Whether they’re brand new to racing or already flying down the trails, there’s racing for 5–14 year olds. Plus, it’s our final race of the season, so we’ll be handing out the overall season prizes too!

And girls - we’d LOVE to see more of you on the start line! At the moment, just 21% of our entries are girls, so if your daughter fancies giving racing a go, get her signed up! 🙌

🏁 WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITHOUT RACING?

We’re also looking for race marshal volunteers! It’s a brilliant way to cheer the kids on, soak up the race-day atmosphere and be part of the Little Fodders crew.

Not only is it the final race of the season, but we’ll also be dishing out the overall season prizes! 🏆🙌

So, if your little ripper has raced with us this year, make sure they’re there. They might have a shiny prize waiting for them… and we’d hate for them to miss out!

Whether they’re a first-time racer or already sending it down the trails, there’s racing for all abilities from 5–14 years old.
