It’s hard to see from this picture but this room was full this evening as a whole
bunch of passionate Colners met with expert wheel park designers to discuss plans for a Colne Wheel Park!
We are committed to making this provision in Colne.

Calling all bike lovers!

Do you love your bike? Want to know how to fix it yourself? Fancy getting seriously into mountain biking, road cycling or BMX? Want to discover new places to ride? Then sign up to our FREE CYAG cycling sessions, delivered by our friends and cycling pros, Go Velo.

We expect to start these sessions on 26th April, but in any case, they will be held every week on Monday evenings. The Go Velo team works to strict safety ratios, so we need to know who is interested beforehand (unlike our Football sessions with Burnley FC in the Community). Please register an interest below in comments and we will be in contact.

You will need to fill in a CYAG Application Form (available for download from www.cyag.org soon) and pay your annual subscription of £3 to join these sessions (you can bring the completed form and the subscription to the first session). Once you have joined, we will strive to either make all our activities either completely free, or very heavily subsidised.

We are hatching big plans for the summer and are considering activities involving a cycling/camping/orienteering expedition. There is so much of the Great Outdoors to explore. Get in on the ground floor with CYAG!

News - Our meeting with Cllr's and Executives went well, our proposal was well received, however it is all in the details and their agreement of how much of the site we can have. If accepted, in addition, we need to set up a charity or a consituted group and raise the funds to run it. There is going to be a lot of work ahead IF our plans are accepted but it will be worth it in the end.

NEWSFLASH!!!!!!! - Keep your fingers and everything crossed for us tomorrow. We are meeting with the powers that be at Nelson Town Hall, to push forward our wheelpark proposal and plans.
