A little story !

A very long time ago, a very chic little girl came to my class. She was different and very special 🫶🏻
She didn’t go out there and win every comp and make every final instantly but she worked and trained and she knew her goal - she was going to be a dancer, whatever it took 💪🏻
The plan was Disney and Cruise ship work. There were rejections and sad times but she powered through - the reality of dance world is harsh and it can break the toughest of determined young dancers.
When she messaged to say ‘I got Disney’ we were absolutely beside ourselves with happiness , thinking she had made it and this was the ultimate. Neither of us knew that was just the start of an incredible dance journey !
Geraldine danced her last Cruise ship performance last night and sent me the most wonderful photo of her drinking champagne - I cried again - she’s done 13 years travelling the world and sharing the stage with other phenomenal dancers. She’s had contract after contract doing the job she loves on some of the most prestigious ships 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I’m so so proud of you Geraldine Mason and the impressive resume that you’re now moving on with. 13 year old ‘Jellybean’ would have been in absolute awe of the adult you have become and would never have believed this was possible !

She’s coming home guys - expect ugly crying and excessive emotion if you see us together 🥰🥰🥳🥳

Being able to get the juniors outside tonight absolutely made my day 🫶🏻🫶🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻♥️♥️

A reminder of this event tonight in Colne! The road closures don’t directly affect access but would expect parents will need to allow extra travel time 😅
