Philip Wright Crown Green Bowling Academy

Philip Wright Crown Green Bowling Academy To introduce new participants, both young and old, from every section of the local community, to the sport of crown green bowling.

This is to be done in a way that is supportive, inclusive, encouraging and most of all, FUN. The Academy runs coaching every Saturday at Alkincoats Park Bowling Greens during the season from 10 am until 12 noon but the academy can travel to any green if requested. Call 07841129795 to arrange coaching session at your venue. Feel free to come and join in, we have 8 level 1 qualified coaches who are well on their way too Level 2. We accept all ages young or old from 5 to 105 and all standards, so if you want to improve your game or just take up a new sport your all welcome. Alkincoats B team will be up against Barrowford A team.

PWCGBA Academy today – Cancellation

It is with regret that we have to cancel the final PWCGBA Academy session of the year this morning.

Due to the persistent rain and the forecast of further rain, we feel it is not possible to go ahead safely.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Academy throughout the year. We hope you have all enjoyed the sessions, and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2027.
