Burnley Tornados American Football Club

Our Chairman, Cameron Stewart, is running for 8 hours to raise funds for the Burnley Tornados Youth American Football teams.

We’ve helped over 500 young people since 2008, and today we’ve got 50+ players aged 9–16 who rely on the club keeping costs low so every kid can play. Sport England will match the first £2,500 we raise, meaning every donation is worth double.

A message from the Chairman: ‘I am one of the original players of this team. This club means the world to me. We have done and continue to do amazing work for youngsters in our community. If you can spare anything, it will go twice as far in supporting these young athletes’

Fancy getting involved in American football. We are holding our rookie camps over the next few weeks so come along and see what all the fun is about.
No experience necessary and all essential safety kit will be provided.

The Burnley Tornados have a variety of age ranges in the ranks. Everything from playing flag (non-contact) from nine years old, through to our youth and junior contact teams, ending up at our sister programme for ages 18+. We have something for everyone.

Not fancy playing? What about coaching? Helping out as part of our dedicated staff? We've got something for everyone. We are a family orientated club whose goal it is to make this place just a little better than we found it.

Hundreds of players, coaches, staff and parents have walked through our doors over the last decade - and we look forward to this continuing for many years to come.
