What a fantastic weekend we've had here at Skylight Darts! 🎯

On Saturday evening, we had the pleasure of hosting Freddie's birthday party, and what a brilliant night it turned out to be!

Freddie brought along a great group of friends and plenty of family members, including Grandma Ruth. After spending the first half of the evening enjoying a variety of fun darts games, everyone was well and truly in the party spirit. Even Grandma Ruth, who proudly admitted she wasn't a darts player, was having a fantastic time and proving you don't need any experience to enjoy yourself! 😄

Then it was time for the main event... the Birthday Competition! 🏆

After a random group stage and some closely contested knockout matches, Oliver, William, Charlie and birthday boy Freddie battled their way into the semi finals.

The final saw William take on Freddie in a tense match that had everyone watching. Both lads played brilliantly, but it was Freddie who just edged it to lift the Skylight Darts Trophy on his birthday. What a way to celebrate! 👏🎉

A huge thank you to Freddie, all his family and friends for making it such a memorable evening. We loved hosting you all!

We'd also like to give a massive shout-out to all the teachers and staff from the Apex Collaborative Trust who joined us on Friday afternoon. Thank you for choosing us for your get together. You all did a fantastic job in the very warm conditions, and we hope to welcome you back again soon! 👍

Finally, a big well done to everyone who took part in this week's inter-schools competition. The effort and determination shown by all the participants, especially in the heat, was outstanding. 👏

We’ll be opening at the later time of 2pm as Colne Gala is on and the parade is starting from the Crown at 11am.

🎯 Last night saw the welcome return of our competitions, kicking off with our monthly junior event!

The quarter finals were incredibly tense, with some nail biting matches that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. The standard on display continued into the semi finals, producing some fantastic darts throughout the evening.

The results set up a brilliant final between brothers Josh and Cody. After four superb legs, the score was locked at 2-2, taking us to a last leg decider. Once again, the quality did not disappoint, with Cody narrowly taking the victory in a fantastic contest.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event. It was great to see such a strong turnout despite the roadworks and road closures in the area.

We’re aware it’s the Colne Grand Prix tomorrow so the roads will be busier than usual. We’d recommend finding us by coming past Lloyds BMW, and turning right onto Guysyke.
