Fair weather sea swimming in Llandrillo-yn-Rhos

Saturday 29 August swim12.30. Do come. You will be made welcome. We meet by the Noticeboard on Rhos Promenade.

No 1pm swim today. Not fair enough weather for us wusses.

Swim times: 12 noon Tuesday 25 August and Wednesday 26 August, 1pm Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August.

Lovely sea conditions. No jellyfish. Skin has improved. Hips have improved. Real friendships started. Much laughter.

Yesterdays swim was 32 minutes! The water was warm, the sea had lovely swells with no cresting. As we were three confident swimmers we swam out between two green pier marker posts! (But if you are not confident enough to go out of depth we often just swim closer to shore between the piers.
Not seen a jellyfish for weeks! But we still wear the mesh suits, they seem to give confidence.
Today's swim is 6pm. It will be a low high tide meaning that it looks as if not hightide because the sea is further out than expected.
