Colwyn Bay in Tokyo!! 🇯🇵
After a hard weekend of rugby, the Men’s Deaf Barbarians have won their first game ever at a World Cup! Scored points in every game but one and had the most amazing support throughout the tournament from other teams and the crowd!

It has been tiring, stressful and emotional at times, but the lads and women have created history for other teams to now build on 💪 and I will push this 100%!! Bring on the Next World Cup🏉

Thank you everyone involved with Colwyn Bay Rugby Club for your continued support - Jason Craig.

A message from head coach Gav:
Away derby days are never easy, and we didn’t expect Abergele to allow us to play our normal game.
In fairness to the home side, they disrupted our game well and definitely reduced our scoring opportunities. At times, our error count increased our frustration, but at half-time, after pressing the reset button and acknowledging a few simple fixes, I believe we stayed in control and saw out a comfortable bonus point performance.
I’m proud of the gritty display, but I know this group has more to give, and I’m looking forward to seeing them apply everything we’re developing throughout the season ahead.
A huge thank you to all the supporters who made the trip over to Abergele and helped get us over the line.

Up the Bay!
Gav
