Congleton Lawn Tennis Club Congleton LTC is THE TENNIS CLUB FOR SOUTH EAST CHESHIRE offering 'Tennis for all ages and abilities'

The Club is one of the oldest tennis clubs in the country having celebrated its Centenary Season in 1990. The Club has been on the same grounds throughout its history, initially renting from a farmer and then purchasing the freehold in 1926. The Club is run as a limited company for the members’ benefit and a committee of Directors who are elected by the members manages it. The Club has always moved with the times being one of the first to drop playing in tests and it operates an equal opportunities policy offering tennis to as many people as possible regardless of age or playing standards. In 2008 we moved into a brand new clubhouse of which we are very proud.

If you have been added to a WhatsApp group you are entered - let me know if you are not in a group you expected to be in.

And a reminder — you also have 4 days to confirm your partner. If you haven’t got one by the deadline, I’ll do the matchmaking for you! 😜

We’ve got the makings of some excellent competitions, with some fantastic numbers already:

🔥 Winter Doubles: 72 players — 36 pairings - we had 44 last year.

🔥 Winter Foursomes: 58 players — we’ll definitely need at least 2 more ( 68 player last year )
🔥 President’s Trophy: 18 players — it would be great to get to 24 (just 6 more!)
🔥 Winter Singles: 26 entries — a very strong turnout 👏

So, if you’re still thinking about entering, don’t miss the boat! 🚢🎾
