This is what we love about caving. Once you get underground, you’re into a completely different world, with huge passages, tight squeezes, flowing water and some seriously impressive formations. 🪨✨

Cautley Spout 🔥💦

Another brilliant day out at one of the UK’s best canyoning venues — Cautley Spout in the Howgills.

Cautley is a proper step up from our more introductory canyoning trips. We run it as an advanced canyon, making it ideal for anyone looking to take their canyoning skills into a bigger, more committing environment.

Think steep-sided gorges, slippery rock, multiple abseils and plenty of exposure, with the impressive Cautley waterfall system dropping around 200m through a series of cascades. (canyonlog.org)

Today’s group got stuck into some great abseils, technical sections and plenty of classic canyoning — and absolutely smashed it! 🤘
