Pre season pitch maintenance going well. Spring /summer fertiliser treatment applied and allowed to grow for 2 weeks, hell of a lot of growth but even more of a graft cutting and emptying to leave us with what is now looking like a thick, lush, green carpet.

W**d treatment to be done now next week, followed by twice a week cutting until the growth slows down.

I’ve missed cutting the pitch over the winter months, not looking too bad all weathers considered, ready for the run in

Tomorrow at our U14’s game at the cage we will be paying our respects and saying farewell to Ralph, the Father and Grandfather to 2 of our very own Dean Salisbury and Kalan. An ever present at all of kalan’s games, an Avid supporter of the club and an all round incredibly decent man. Your presence around the club will be deeply missed by coaches, parents, players and all associated to our wonderful club. God bless Pal ❤️

A very good competitive game between our U11’s and Hawarden this morning, kids from both teams where impeccable in showing their respect to all fallen heroes and the game that followed was equally as impressive

Is there a better setting in Flintshire for kids to play grassroots football? We’re very blessed to have such great facilities. Thank you to Karl parry and his company iGreenkeeper for his generosity in carrying out the first of our fertiliser treatments, pitch is looking fantastic going into the winter months and already looking forward to the next treatment in march
