We are delighted to announce Evie Chard will be taking the armband as Connah’s Quay Nomads Women captain for the 2026/27 season!👏🔴

18-year-old Hannah Slack will also support Chard as the club’s vice-captain!

💭Women’s First Team manager Andy Griffiths said:

“Evie is a natural leader, a proven winner and a player we can rely on. She is a person her teammates can trust to represent them to the highest standards in every game…

“Hannah has shown in pre-season how much this Nomads team means to her. She is a great example to the other players both on and off the pitch and she has already shown the extra responsibility will raise her game to another level this season.”

The Nomads Women begin their domestic season tomorrow away to Wrexham Foresters in the first group stage fixture (14:00pm KO)🏆⏩
