Provisional Results.

Thank you all for coming yesterday to what was a record turn out event, with 167 entries for round #1 of the North Wales fell running series.

The weather was pretty good, the course nice and muddy, great views, even better marshals and lots of support around.
What else can you ask for?? (Quicker results... 😅) Apologies for the delay everyone.

Have a look and message me with any typos.

Cheers everyone!

Thank you all for coming, I hope you had a great time.

FINAL DETAILS:

Race will be held this Saturday 7th February at 12:00 pm, with an early start at 11:30am for those that don't think they could make the CUT-OFF time of 75 minutes at the last descent to CP5.

Registration will be open from 11:00am at Conwy Cricket Club LL32 8DU.
There are changing facilities available.

Entry will be £7 on the day only as always, please try to bring the correct amount.

Parking: there's plenty of parking next to registration. It is pay and display. Please, don't park by the houses near the start of the race as it will be inconvenient for the residents, all that makes the organisation of the race much harder.

Have a look at the map below which shows where Registration is, where to and Not to park and how to get to the start.

The course will be marked with arrows, tape and flags to help navigate but it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the route.

There's a bit of everything along the route; wide and narrow trails, steep climbs and descents, beautiful views, you'll love it.

KIT:

Bring full kit and I will make a decision on the day.
The weather is looking good so far, no wind or rain but a bit cold. Make sure you have the right equipment for you on the day, the ground is very soft in places so I recommend grippy/aggressive shoes despite some hard packed trails.

Prize giving will be held at Registration once all runners are off the hills.

Keep it simple, do your best and have fun.

Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday.

Hi all!

After a couple of requests, this year we will have an early start for those that don't think they could make the cut off time of 75 minutes. The cut off time will be enforce at the last descent, just above check point 5.

Early starters will have to inform the registration team, where they will be given a specific race number.
There will be an early start (11:30am) at the same starting point.

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

See you all Saturday! The weather is looking great!
