The return of the rain this morning didn’t stop our u8 girls and this week’s Go Games. There was a great display of camogie on show, especially ground striking and blocking.👏🏻 A lot of talent within this young age group! Thank you to Newbridge and Ballinascreen for making their way to Shamrock Park with their girls and to our parents for supporting from the sidelines under their umbrellas. ☔️

Derry CCC and the Referee Administration Committee are calling on clubs and club members to express an interest in starting the pathway to becoming a club referee, for youth and adult games.

Referees across all codes are in short supply in Derry. Our current officials are stretched thin, covering huge numbers of games, and we’re facing a real risk of burnout, injuries, and further losses if nothing changes.

➡️ A clear pathway into officiating at youth and adult level
➡️ Full training and ongoing support
➡️ A vital role keeping fixtures running across the county

Provisional date: Saturday 20th June (early morning). Further details on training to follow.

Good luck to Ruairi, Niall & Gareth ☘️

🗞️🔢 Here’s our squad for tomorrow’s SFC opener vs. Armagh.

Good luck to Brooke, Clodagh, Jessica, Casey and Sophia as they represent Derry in the All-Ireland U14 Final this Saturday! ❤️🤍

The final takes place in Emyvale, Monaghan, with throw-in at 3.30pm as Derry take on Donegal. 🏐

A fantastic achievement for all five girls and a proud moment for Ballinderry Shamrocks LGFA.

A special mention to captain Clodagh, who unfortunately suffered a broken collarbone during the week and will miss the final. Clodagh has led this team from day one on their journey and has been a huge part of everything they have achieved this season. Her absence is a massive loss for Derry, but no one could question the contribution she has made in getting the team to this stage.

We know she’ll be supporting every step of the way.

Best of luck to the entire Derry squad and management team. Bring it home! ❤️🤍☘️
