It's was a long journey, but I did it. It wasn't easy, and there were definitely times when I wanted to give up. But I kept at it, even when I fell off the wagon and had to start again.
The results have been amazing.
It wasn't always easy, but the hard work and discipline paid off. I feel stronger, more confident, and overall just better in my own skin. It's a feeling that I wouldn't trade for anything.
I'm proud of myself for sticking with it and not giving up, even when things got tough. It's not always easy to make lifestyle changes, but it's so worth it in the end. I'm excited to see where 2023 my fitness journey takes me next.

My number 1 diet hack…
Plan your protein source for each meal the night before. This will help to ensure you hit your daily protein target.
One of the most important macronutrients in any diet is protein due to its critical role in muscle building and repair. However, protein can also play a beneficial role when in a calorie deficit as it is the macronutrient which provides the greatest satiating effect through its ability to regulate several hormones associated with appetite control.
Ultimately, high-protein meals will help to curb your hunger for longer and reduce your likelihood to snack or binge eat.
Another benefit of high-protein meals in a fat loss phase is it’s increased thermic effect of food- which basically means that the energy required to digest, absorb and dispose of protein is higher than that of carbs and fat.
To sum up, protein is the king of macronutrients. Not only does it reduce energy intake by influencing your appetite but it also increases energy expenditure as it requires more energy to digest.

Hear what Kyle has to say on his experience...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Hi my name is Kyle I’m 32 and i’m a lorry driver.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve always enjoyed going to gym and keeping myself active but over the past few years I let myself go and was struggling to get back into any kind of fitness or routine then I came across Nikki’s lean in 12 programme and decided to give it a try because the times suited in well with my work and seen some transformations from past groups which where amazing and wanted to try it out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At the start I wasn’t really sure in what to expect when starting the lean in 12 because I’ve never done anything like this before but I’m happy that I did and I’m really pleased with the results. I did picked up one or two injuries along the way but after speaking to Nikki he was able to adapt some exercises to put less strain on the injury and I managed to get through the sessions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I would highly recommend anybody that is interested to try training with Nikki his knowledge on the training and the commitment he has for it is second to none with always pushing you on and helping you get to that next level.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you are interested in doing the classes but unsure don’t worry, there is always a great atmosphere at the sessions with the rest of the group there pushing each other on and having a good laugh at the same time, you leave every night knowing that you’ve done something.” @ Mecca Performance
