This is Travis. My 13 year old grandson. He has recently been selected by the British select u13s to play in a AAA tournament in in Riga, Latvia over Easter. He haha also been selected to play for England u13s in a tournament in Turku, Finland just over 2 weeks later. This is an amazing opportunity and will be a fantastic experience. As you can imagine it doesn't come cheap. If any of you could make any sort of contribution towards getting him there it would be greatly appreciated. Well, yesterday I saw a first. A pair of figure skates that were starting to look like a pair of hockey skates. The rear of the blade had been rounded off to a degree that almost makes it not fit for purpose. And this was the result of only a couple of sharpens at the same place.

Just had these bad boys in for sharpening. By the looks of things a been a while. 😀. Nevertheless, still the same price as a regular sharpen. £5. Still the same care and attention.

I heard the very sad news yesterday of the passing of Ronnie Harris. Whenever Ron contacted me about coming over I always used to book him a double slot or arrange so I didn't have any appointments for a while. The reason being is Ron was a remarkable man. We would talk about anything and everything. Every meeting with him was a pleasure. You were a true inspiration. Such a funny and genuine person. I'm sure you have left memories in the hearts of those that knew you. I was one of the lucky ones that had the pleasure of knowing you. RIP Ron. You will ok be sadly missed. 😢😥♥️

Another visit from Jonathan weaver earlier this evening with some more TRUE TF7 skates. He has popped over a couple of times in the last couple of weeks which has given me chance to have a good look at these skates and in all honesty I am impressed. They are off the shelf as opposed to custom built. A fairly good looking boot with their own blades which appear to be good quality steels. Well worth a look at. They currently go for around £265 . Anyone looking for a bargain can get a new pair size 3, never been worn and freshly sharpened for a bargain price of only £200.

I will be getting some of the Bauer facemasks in. They will be either black or black and white with the Bauer logo on the side. They will be around £6. Anyone interested please let me know as soon as possible as my order will be going in first thing in the morning.
