Our adult Bharatanatyam session yesterday was truly beautiful. Some are learning this art form for the very first time. Others, like me, are relearning, rediscovering, and returning to practice with deeper understanding and love.
Almost six years ago, Nrithyam began with a simple belief: that art has the power to transform lives.
What you see reflects countless hours of dedication, healing, growth, and togetherness. Every dancer carries own story, and together, we create something truly meaningful.
Forever grateful for this journey ❣️
Not everyone will understand the depth of what we do or why we do it, and that’s absolutely okay.
What truly matters to us is this:
Nrithyam is positively changing hundreds of lives. And that is more than what we can ask for❣️
Women, personal message to learn or re-learn Bharathanatyam ❣️

So grateful to share that our Nrithyam School of Dance team presented two beautiful performances at Leicester Mela last week, and our hearts are truly full from all the love and feedback we received. 💖✨
We showcased a semi-classical South Indian dance piece, blending tradition with fusion through one of the oldest art forms, Therukoothu followed by a vibrant and joyful folk performance that brought so much energy to the stage. 🌸🎶
A huge thank you to the Leicester Mela team for giving us this incredible platform and for adding so much value to our dance community by celebrating culture and diversity. 🙏🌍
The photos say it all what a beautiful day it was! 💕

Nrithyam is honoured to perform at Leicester Mela this year with two soul-stirring performances with powerful rhythm and energy. ❤️
One is a vibrant celebration of tradition through the raw beauty of South Indian Folk dance.
The other is a bold and compelling fusion of South Indian classical dances and the dramatic spirit of Therukoothu.
Each piece promises to be unique and powerful expression of movement, rhythm and storytelling, performances unlike anything you usually see.❤️
Come and witness the passion. Feel the pulse of tradition reimagined.💙

Love doing dance workshops at schools, it's such a rewarding experience and brings a whole new level of happiness. The energy, excitement, and pure joy on the children’s faces make it all so special.
Happy to be invited to do a workshop and perform this year too at Mountfields in Loughborough.
Come, watch us perform and dance with us ❤️💃🌼
