Here’s a trick that takes 3 seconds

Look at the calories per 100g - drop the last digit. That’s your target protein number

540 calories per 100g? You need 54g of protein or more to make it a quality source

Most “high protein” foods don’t pass that test

Now you’ll know in seconds whether something is worth eating or not

Log your family dinner in MyFitnessPal first thing in the morning. Before you’ve eaten anything

See what you’re working with - the calories, the protein, all of it

Then build the rest of your day around that number

Low protein at dinner? Sort it earlier

Throw some chicken on your lunch and have a high protein snack in the afternoon

By the time you sit down with your family, you’re right on target

No separate meals. No awkward conversations. No choosing between your goals and your family
