Thanks for the messages asking if I’m feeling alright . Yes I am I only went bronze Bream fishing I really have not lost the plot haha .
The day was split in half .
In the morning I was on island pool. I only managed one Tench and four hybrids it just wasn’t fishing well.
So I had to make the changes.
So I switched to Horseshoe pool and I had a great session in the afternoon catching quite a few Bronze Bream the target for the day.
I also had loads of Tench Crucians Chub and a F1 too.
The Bronze Bream was all between 2-5 lb not massive but a fun day was had

Last night I had a dream I was Bream fishing and caught some absolute massive ones. So I’ve taken it as a sign to go Bream fishing tomorrow. To some this is unthinkable but to me it sounds great .I actually can’t wait. Can dreams come true.
We’re going to find out.

Well today didn’t exactly go to plan.
I ended up only doing about 6 hours fishing. I forgot it was a country park and what that brings . Dogs jumping in after ball . Stones being thrown in by kids having competition who can throw the furthest and all kinds of other stuff happening around me . It is definitely not a weekend venue. That being said, a lot of the people I spoke to were lovely.
Back to the fishing . It was a very quiet day (6 hours) I only had one bite and it was this pristine tiny common carp right at the end of the session. Definitely not the biggest I’ve caught of late, but one of the prettiest.
It did however put in a good account for itself .I’m sure if I had of stayed longer I’d of caught a lot more. I really enjoyed it though

Feeling proper Carpy .
Love Ryton pools it’s beautiful . Hard to believe it used to be landfill home waste tip. And what a perfect place to get the carp rods out at .
Fingers crossed I catch some big wobbly ones

And for once I’m actually ready to start walking them banks this winter.
I literally can’t wait to catch my first Pike of the year. Hopefully a big momma to lol.
Does anybody else predator / lure fish ??
It would be fun to get out on the bank with a few of yous this winter for a session
