Yoga …but give me a soft place to land. My next-door-but-one neighbour is cutting down a tree that has accompanied my daily practice for nearly two years. I say accompanied as it is ever present in my life. If I’m in the dining room, I see it (I hear it!), I see it from my bed every morning. I see it from my kitchen. I am in it and under it in my garden. I SMELL it. I’ve laid under it with heartbreak. I’ve moved with it. I’ve spoken to it. Yesterday I stopped them, pointing out the nests. In 3 weeks they’ll be back to carry out their destruction. In the meantime I’m gathering all the falling leaves and twigs and beautiful bark (which changes colour through the summer!) and feeling grief at its impending loss. I don’t what the learnings are yet, but I hope I’ll find them.

No yoga today! At Warwick market instead with
Reminder - Car Park at St Barbara’s is closed this week. Classes are on as normal
Maundy Thursday - no class tonight at church hall.
ALL CLASSES AS NORMAL THIS WEEK (I’ll do a proper post tomorrow)
CLASS UPDATE - all had gone very well with Mae’s surgery but hospital time is a little longer than expected ( I’m not surprised!) so no classes Tuesday or Wednesday - may consider Thursday if we’re home. Thanks all! 🙏
