What a season it’s been and what a team these boys have become

Everyone had a great time at the presentation today as we reflected on our u9 season

These boys turn up week in week out and give nothing but their best and we know we will go from strength to strength next season

The Sharks will be ready to go again 🦈⚽️

What a weekend for these boys as we went on tour to end our u9s season.

So many laughs/fun had and some special memories made

On the pitch - we got some deserved wins and 2 days of football were completed… the boys more than competed in every match and put in some brilliant performances

Thank you to all our players … you boys show up and continue to impress week after week.. we really are lucky to have such a great group of boys together

And to a group that doesn’t often get mentioned… “the Parents”… you guys …. 🩵

Different location, Same opposition, Different result but another great game between these two teams

We took the lead but conceded twice late one.. not the result we wanted but I can’t fault the effort and work rate shown by this amazing group of boys

🏆 Parents MOTM went to our captain for the day, Maciej who was brilliant in goals once again

🏆 MOTM was Archie who set up our goal and was non stop in midfield showing skill, composure, quality on the ball and desire to win it back all game

It was a close game today as the we hosted Warwick Juniors in our final home game of the season.

The boys got a hard fought but deserved win with a brilliant team goal straight off the training ground to get us on the way today and never looked back

The boys played out an entertaining draw with Rugby Borough Juniors this morning

After a strong start and racing ahead we were pegged back and it ended honours even with both sides creating chances to win it..

We welcomed Maciej back in goals and he put in a great performance to mark his return

Another away game today, this time at Leek Wootton.

We played some good stuff early on and didn’t get the rewards for our play but it came together brilliantly in the second half and we ran out deserved and comfortable winners

Even more impressive was a clean sheet without our goalkeeper… great work from AJ, Marlo, Aveer and James all stepping up for their team today and taking turns in goals… Also a huge well done to all the boys for their defensive work .. we pressed from the front and any time we were under pressure the lads in defence were there determined to win the ball back time and time again.

🏆 Parents MOTM went to Aveer who carried on his recent form with some lovely passing and showed aggression and creativity throughout and got his goal right at the end with a smart finish

🏆 MOTM for me was Marlo who was absolutely unplayable. He showed desire, skill and on any other day would have got the goal his efforts deserved and played all over the pitch to help his team today. A brilliant performance.

Brilliant performance from the boys this morning and a well deserved win against Warwick Juniors in our final cup game

We conceded early after a slow start but the boys responded well and played some great football and really grew into the game

🏆 Parents MOTM went to Arlo today who not only got a goal but played with heart and determination, defended brilliantly and kept getting in goal scoring positions

🏆 MOTM was AJ who battled well, showed some brilliant link up play and got an assist and kept the ball moving for the team creating a number of chances ( as well as some brilliant saves in the pen shootout at the end )

On our travels today away to Stratford Town…

Always is a good game with these two teams and this did not disappoint

We may have been down in numbers but the teamwork and heart these boys showed today was second to none and very unlucky not to get a positive result

Back at home and in cup action today against a strong RB Lions team

We were missing our keeper through injury and AJ and Marlo stepped up and pulled off some great saves for their team.

It was a really good game of football as we were hosted by our friends Bedworth United FC U9 Juniors 25/26 this morning

It’s always a close one every time these teams meet, both sides showing 100% commitment and playing football in the right way

It didn’t go our way today and we just lost out but walked off with heads held high and we are ready to begin the cup fixtures next week
