π₯ One kick. One wooden board. One unforgettable achievement. π₯
Board breaking is about so much more than strength. It teaches students to trust their technique, commit with confidence and overcome the doubt that can creep into their minds.
For many children, breaking woodem boards is a moment they'll remember for years. It shows them that with practice, determination and belief in themselves, they are capable of achieving things they once thought were impossible.
That's what TaeKwon-Do is all aboutβnot just building stronger kicks, but building stronger, more confident kids.

12/07/2026
Today was a fantastic day for Impact TaeKwon-Do as 13 students successfully earned their next Dan grade after months and, for many, years of dedication, perseverance and hard work.
Congratulations to:
π₯ 6 students promoted to 1st Degree Black Belt
π₯ 4 students promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt
π₯ 3 students promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt
The grading began at 10:00am and concluded at 4:00pm, with candidates demonstrating every aspect of their training. Throughout the day they were assessed on patterns, sparring, self-defence techniques and board breaking, before taking part in a comprehensive theory seminar followed by a written theory examination.
Achieving a Black Belt is never easy. It represents years of commitment, resilience and determination, and every candidate should be incredibly proud of what they have accomplished today.
I'm immensely proud of every single one of you. Watching your progress over the years and seeing you perform with such confidence and determination made today a truly special occasion.
A huge thank you to Senior Master Barry Parsons VIII for conducting the grading. He commented that he was very pleased with the overall standard, which is a testament to the effort each candidate has invested in their training.
I'd also like to extend my sincere thanks to Mr Alan Jones V Degree for assisting on the grading panel throughout the day. Your support and professionalism were greatly appreciated.
Well done to all of our newly promoted Black Belts. Enjoy celebrating your achievementβyou've earned it! The real journey begins now.

Fitness is an important part of training at Impact TaeKwon-Do πͺπ₯
While many people associate TaeKwon-Do with kicking and self-defence, our students also work hard to develop their strength, stamina, agility and overall fitness.
Through a variety of exercises, drills and conditioning activities, students learn the value of hard work, perseverance and pushing beyond their comfort zones.
The benefits extend far beyond the Dojang:
β Improved fitness and health
β Greater energy levels
β Increased resilience and determination
β Better concentration and focus
β Improved confidence and self-belief
Fitness isn't about being the fastest or strongest in the room. It's about becoming a little better than you were yesterday.
Keep working hard everyone β the results are worth it! π

Working on improving accuracy and distance for sparring...
Power, precision and commitment ππ₯
One of our adult coloured belt members demonstrating an excellent turning kick board break β showing not only strong technique, but the confidence and focus needed to execute under pressure.
Board breaking is about far more than power alone. It requires correct timing, control, accuracy and commitment to the technique.
A great example of hard work paying off π₯
