✨ A DAY I’LL NEVER FORGET… ✨

Today we officially opened the doors to CAD STUDIOS. 🖤❤️✨

And I’m not quite sure I have the words to explain how it felt.

After 6 long weeks without our pupils, today our studios were finally filled with music, laughter, excitement and DANCING! Seeing all of their little (and not so little!) faces walking through those doors was just wonderful. I’ve missed them more than I realised! ❤️

For weeks we’ve been planning, painting, building, cleaning, organising and working ridiculously long hours to turn an empty space into somewhere our pupils can call home.

And today, standing there watching them dance in it, I had one of those moments where I thought… we actually did it. 🥹

There are a few people I need to thank personally.

Mum & Dad — I honestly don’t know what I would have done without you. While I was away, you put SO many hours into the studios, working away to make sure everything was ready for me coming home and for today’s opening. You’ve always supported every crazy idea and dream I’ve had, and this one was certainly a big one! 😂

I hope when you stood in those studios today and saw them full of children, you felt proud — and most of all, I hope I make you proud. ❤️

And to my husband, Callum…

Thank you for always pushing me to believe that I can do more. For listening to every idea, every worry and every “Do you think I’m doing the right thing?” For encouraging me when I doubt myself and for always reminding me to keep going.

You’ve believed in me and in CAD, even during the moments when I’ve questioned myself. Thank you for putting up with the late nights, the endless studio talk and everything else that comes with being married to someone whose brain never seems to switch off! 😂❤️

And to my amazing teaching team — thank you. ❤️

CAD simply wouldn’t be CAD without you. Thank you for the time, energy and love you give to our pupils, for supporting all of my ideas (even the slightly crazy ones! 😂) and for caring about this school as much as you do.

Seeing you all teaching in our new studios today made me incredibly proud. I’m so lucky to have a team who genuinely care about every child who walks through our doors and who share the same passion for creating a place where our pupils can learn, grow and feel at home.

Thank you for being such a huge part of CAD and for coming on this journey with me. ❤️

And finally, to our incredible CAD families…

Thank you for sticking with us, supporting us and trusting us. Seeing so many of you there today for our ribbon cutting meant more than you probably realise.

CAD started in 2010, and over the years it has become so much more than somewhere children come for a dance lesson.

It’s friendships.
It’s confidence.
It’s memories.
It’s growing up.
It’s a family.

And now, it has a home. 🥹❤️

There are still a few finishing touches to come, but today wasn’t about everything being perfect.

It was about opening those doors and hearing music playing and children laughing and dancing again.

New studios.
A new chapter.
The same CAD family. ❤️

Lovely to hear Isla and Evie had a wonderful time at the Royal Ballet- Yorkshire Ballet Seminars together! They both had a great time and learned a lot not just about dance but also about setting goals and audition preparation. ♥️🖤

A special moment captured just after their Preparatory Ballet Exam rehearsal. These little dancers are only at the very beginning of their dance journey, yet already, beautiful friendships and such strong bonds are beginning to form. ❤️🖤

At CAD, we’re not only nurturing a love of dance and developing technique. We’re helping our pupils build confidence, independence, teamwork and social skills, all while learning how to support and encourage one another.

They may come through our doors to learn to dance… but along the way, they grow together, make memories and form friendships that can last a lifetime.

So much more than a dance class. So much more than a dance school. ♥️🖤
