Not long ago the Warwick and Coventry Panthers travelled to Sheffield to compete in the 2024 BUIHA ice hockey nationals competition. And we are very proud to say that we walked away with the GOLD!!! This win is comes thanks to the determination of all the players on the team this year. Putting in the time and effort during training and coming together to form an amazing team during the regular season and during nationals. But the team is only one part of the club and thanks have to go out to all of our coaches who have done an incredible job in helping us improve and be a team on and more importantly off the ice. We would also like to thank all of the game day volunteers and the exec for setting up and seeing to the running of all of our games, training sessions and events. And I think I speak for all of the players on the team when I say this was an incredible team and it was a joy to be a part of it. Get excited because it’s finally time for our first home game since COVID!! Whether you know someone playing, love to watch ice hockey, or just want to support, tickets are now available for our 3rd December home game. Tickets can be bought either on the door in cash or online beforehand through the link in our bio or by scanning the QR code on the second page of this post. They are £5 (which is really cheap!) and all proceeds go into keeping this sport that we love alive at Warwick and Coventry. We will be hosting a social beforehand at Spoons (from 8pm ish) which is open to all members and non-members coming to the game. It’s a chance to meet new people and get some food and drink in before the game. So tell your friends and get the word out! Can’t wait to see you all there. 🏒🏒🏒

Hey skaters! It’s time for our ice hockey tasters!!!!! Behold the Mondays of Week 1 and 2 where you’ll be able to try it out. If you have your own equipment feel free to bring, and if not, we have sticks, pucks and helmets to distribute among attendees.

Homework: work out whether you’re right handed or left handed.

The Google form for the taster is in our link tree so make sure to fill that in!

Looking for a fast-paced sport? The Coventry and Warwick Panthers are back! Join one of the fastest-growing clubs on campus, attracting players of all abilities. Competitive players to complete newcomers, our training programmes cater for all levels. The Panthers will help you achieve your 2021/22 goals on the ice.

Panthers team training starts Wednesday 29th September at 22:45PM at the Coventry Skydome. Full kit required. Please message the page or one of the execs if there are any issues with this. Make sure to arrive 30 minutes early to change. Our exec will be at the door to direct you.

Cash will be accepted at the door or can be made via bank transfer (see group chat, ask if you've not been invited).

CALLING ALL WARWICK AND COVENTRY STUDENTS

Ice Hockey is back! We will be running full training through Warwick Ice Skating this year, welcoming anyone from Coventry or Warwick University, from seasoned professionals to complete beginners.

Alongside regular training, we will be hosting 5 sessions each term aimed at those who have never played hockey before; no equipment or skating experience is required.

Our Training Schedule:

Development Team Training, Mondays 22:45 starting on the 4th October - 5 sessions term 1.
