Today marks a special milestone for Strachan Football Foundation U14s as they enter the Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL) for the very first time.

This is the beginning of an exciting journey, developing the next generation of players as we build the pathway below our 16–19 programme.

Hinckley AFC | First Team Debuts

Congratulations to Jordan Gray and Shaun Watkins, who have both recently made their first-team debuts for Hinckley AFC.

Jordan, now in his third year with the foundation , was a key member of our U18s during his first two seasons within the Hinckley youth setup. He now begins his senior career with Hinckley AFC while continuing his development at the Foundation.

Shaun joins Hinckley AFC after several years playing at Step 5 level. Alongside his playing role, Shaun is also Assistant Manager of our Hinckley AFC U18s, combining his playing experience with his role in supporting the development of our younger players.

Two different routes into the first team, but both demonstrating the opportunities available through the Hinckley pathway.

🚨 Player Development Centre Launch 🚨

We’re creating a small-group, elite player development programme focused on giving players the right environment, coaching and attention to progress.

Based at Warwick University, with a state-of-the-art 4G facility and UEFA Qualified Coaches, our sessions will be technical-led and built around individual development.

We’re trying to create an environment where every player can develop their own strengths, improve their weaknesses and reach their potential.
