Cov Tech started the league season off in style with an 8-0 scoreline that didn't flatter us. First 15/20 were tight with the wheel showing they are a capable team coming forward. After we took the lead a second soon followed and we went in comfortable at 4-0 at half time. After the break the great work rate and decent football continued and the gaffa was able to make the full 5 subs allowed. Testament to the players that came on tech pushed forward, the work rate intensity started the same and we could have arguably hit double figures. The attitude from the whole squad was top notch from the off and this takes us in to the game with Alvis full of confidence.

Apologies for the late report this week but this result definitely needed taking about.

Tech started with multiple changes again this week but with the strongest squad we've had in weeks. Early pressure and a few missed opportunities didn't reap any rewards and saw Masseys take the lead with a worldy volley which Dazza got a hand to.

Tech didn't look back after this and an impressive start to the second half saw the team relentlessly press and hassle Masseys to equalise through the ginger adonis Aldo. Steve and his tricky feet saw tech take the lead before Rory scored in the dying seconds to see us take the deserved 3 points.

Class from start to finish. A goal, an assist and ran, tackled and battled throughout the 90. Well worth the sunburn 👏

Result - Cov Tech 1 - Holbrooks 1

A strong Holbrooks team arrived at the tech looking lively from the off and took 1-0 lead through their biggest threat on the wing. After the initial opening 20 tech started to get a better grip of the game and used a longer ball tactic which Holbrooks struggled with for the rest of the game. Tech found a way back when Marlowe intercepted the ball from the CB and "raced" 👀 his way into the box where he got a shot away but was taken down by the defender. Rory stepped up and made no mistake to make it 1-1. Second half saw both teams trying to win in with Daz making some cracking saves and commanding his box which saw him save a 1 on 1 with the dangerous Connel. Tech nearly saw a goal of the season contender go in where a string of passes down the left and a fantastic ball in by Rory was met by Dan who could only hit the unit of a keeper on the volley. All in all a draw looked the right result but the lads graft and effort was quality throughout.

MOTM - Daz - made some great saves and caught everything thrown in the box. His kicking was fantastic throughout also 👏
