Tom Gough is back this season! Goughy has played for us for a long time, on and off between university and different adventures but he is back with us. He brings accuracy, leadership and dynamism to our squad. With lots of experience and the ability to play in multiple positions, he is a great player to have. A strong player who gives us flexibility in moving people around and playing everybody to their strengths!

Josh Francis is back as our player head coach! With a turbulent start to last season, Josh stepped up and coached us to pretty successful last 8 games! Despite missing most of the games himself due to injury, he has kept the lads ticking over, always been present and pushing us toward. Josh rejoins us again this season and with a yeqr of coaching under his belt we are hoping for a good season!

Jack Morris is back from a long hiatus away from the game! Jack is a phenomenal rugby player with an insane centre of gravity, changing direction, weaving in and out of players, jumping in the line out and great in defence. He's lightning quick, well experience and excited to get back playing! We'll post a little video from England Rugby to show how good Jack is!

Dave Sexton is back from his 75th retirement! Our own baby rhino who can simultaneously see both wings at the same time, Sexton is a phenomenal scrummager and big old ball carrier. On the field, he is level headed, strong and a true clubman, who's he's been with Coventrians through thick and thin!

Sexton, we hope you're wearing that daisy chain all year!💙🤍

Stephen Kelly is back from Uni and resigning for us! Stevo has been with Coventrians for about 15 years, coming up through juniors and colts and then onto the senior team. Capable at prop, he shows massive heart, great spirit and is a good lad to be around. He's working hard in pre season to get fitter but more than anything we're glad to have him back!

Neil walters is back again this season! Neil is a man mountain, and a beast of a ball carrier. He's happy playing either 8 or second row and brings explosive power and a wealth of experience. Neil has been at Coventrians for a good number of years and recently returned to playing last year and had a STORMER of a season. The Walters family and Coventrians go hand in hand and it's always a good day when we see their names on team sheets.

James Gittins is back for another season returning from injury! Gitts is a fiery player who brings grit and determination to our squad. He is a strong energetic player with good ball carrier skills, injects pace and fire into our game. He will help get the young lads fired up and help guide them on his journey!

Cameron Brooks is ready for the new season! Cam is a young bowling ball of a player, he is a strong as an ox and a good ball carrier! He is still developing into the mens game and we think he could be really good! Under our coaching and leadership team Cam has come along way in the one season he has had for us and we are excited to see where he goes!
