Leicester & Charnwood Sunday Football League

The LCSFL league are deeply saddened by the passing of Elizabeth Doyle. Liz was a huge part of the Leicester Sunday League for many years and the LCSFL after the merger. She was a valued committee member who always gave her time to support the league and our clubs at every opportunity

As the Registrations Secretary, in the days before Full Time, Liz would take great pride in ensuring all clubs had the required player sign on card and it was laminated ready to be presented. This would have been a monumental task and her efforts and attention to detail always ensured teams had players signed in time for the big match

Liz was always there at league meetings and cup finals and would always have a funny comment or kind word for someone when it was needed

Our thoughts are with Frank and all the family at this difficult time ❤️

Congratulations to our Division 3 champions .ballerz 🏆

LCSFL committee had been present on Sunday for the title decider between CFA Ballers and Birstall Stamford Youth with the championship going down to the final day of the season

CFA Ballers came out on top and Jono was on hand to present CFA Ballers with the trophy

They had a brilliant campaign which also saw them reach the President’s Cup Final and the Invitational Cup Semi Finals and twice be voted Team of the Month 🏆 🥈

LCSFL x Modern Men Movement Collaboration

It was the LCSFL’s pleasure to host our charity partner Modern Men Movement at our Senior Cup Final on Friday

We are delighted to have started a collaboration this season with them to highlight the important work they are doing for men in Leicestershire and beyond.

Naming our Senior Cup in their honour was the first step to help raise awareness and spread the message. We are excited to soon be launching resources and promotion of the collaboration to all of our member clubs in partnership with Modern Men Movement. Please check out their socials at:
