After last week’s high, this one felt a bit underwhelming despite a 4–1 win. Facing a side from a lower tier who sat deep with numbers behind the ball, it proved difficult to break them down and find space.
We started brightly, with Jake opening the scoring, followed by Regan and Harry to give us a comfortable lead at the break.
The second half didn’t quite hit the same levels. We challenged the boys to push on and be more clinical, but only managed one more goal through Regan.
Another win on the board, but we know there’s more to come from this group and higher standards to reach 💪

A dominant first half saw us 3–0 up, and despite a tough second half playing uphill, the team stuck to the plan and controlled the game to secure a fantastic win 🙌

Match Summary – 8th February ⚽

A brilliant way to finish the competitive season!
Reagan scored straight from kick-off, lobbing the keeper from our own half 🚀 and setting the tone early. From there, the goals flowed.

Harry marked his return with two goals and a superb all-round display (POTM 🌟). Ola grabbed a hat-trick, Yasha was unstoppable with a double hat-trick, and Jake added his name to the scoresheet.

But just as important was the work behind it — a rock-solid defensive performance and another clean sheet for Igor 👏

🆚 Hurley Kings | Match Summary
Massive improvement from our last meeting. Despite missing our first-choice keeper, Reagan stepped in well and the defence put in a top-class performance.

We controlled the game, limited Hurley to very few chances, and created opportunities of our own — the goal just wouldn’t come.

Even the Hurley manager knew they were lucky to take a point. Real progress on show 💪

Big progress shown after a 6–0 defeat last time out 💪

We dominated large spells, created plenty of chances, and stayed solid defensively 🛡️

Goal came from great work by Daniel, setting up Regan for a calm finish ⚽

Strong team performance — just need to be more clinical in front of goal.

A competitive and encouraging performance in our first outing after the Christmas break saw us travel to Boldmere St Michaels.

Despite creating a number of clear chances and starting strongly — with opportunities to be a few goals up inside the opening 20 minutes — it was ultimately a 2–0 defeat against a side we had never faced before, who compete in a different league.

The game remained competitive throughout and proved to be a valuable run-out as we continue our preparations for Sunday’s clash with Hurley Kings.

Player of the Match: Jakub, for a commanding midfield display, winning possession and dictating play.
