Congratulations to our incoming Warwick freshers! Welcome to Warwick University!
Warwick Women’s Rugby is a place for absolutely anyone and everyone! We welcome players of all ages and capabilities. Doesn’t matter whether you’ve played for ten years or have never played before! We welcome everyone!

WWRFC CLUB COLOURS 2022! 🌈
A massive congratulations to our rugby players that won Club Colours this year! We are incredibly proud of you guys and another congratulations to those who are graduating and leaving WWRFC this year! Our leavers made this year so special for us this year and we can’t wait to reunite at Old Girls!

Rugby training is back for Term 3! All sessions are at Cryfield 4G
Mondays: 8.30-10pm
Fridays 6.30-8pm
Extra sessions are touch rugby and a league of touch rugby will be starting from May 3rd!
Touch rugby: Tuesdays 5-6pm
Touch rugby league: Tuesdays 6-7pm

CHARITY OFFICER: Caitlin Rice-Lines

What are you going to do with your new role?
As Charity Officer I plan to put on fundraising events which are fun and engaging while raising money for amazing causes. I hope to increase WWRFC’s engagement with local charities through the means of Foodbank and period poverty drives.
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
I have made friends I know I will have for life
Fun fact:
I was once on an ITV tv program where my mum went and stayed in a hotel and left my dad to look after myself and my brother :)

WELFARE & COVID OFFICER - Eléonore Julia

What are you going to do with your new role?
As Welfare and COVID Officer I plan to make sure everyone is aware of the club’s COVID guidelines and overall making sure we maintain the fun and motivated atmosphere we’ve got going on. I’m always available for a chat, rugby related or not!
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
Our club’s wonderfully creative chants.
Fun fact:
Tried Greggs for the first time on tour and fell in love with their vegan sausage roll.

PUBLICITY OFFICER: Kit Sum Lee

What are you going to do with your new role?
As the new Publicity Officer I am in charge of marketing and managing all of our social media including our Instagram and Facebook! I will be promoting our new and upcoming socials as well as designing all the posts including this post, our team sheets and more!
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
Our club is always welcoming to everyone regardless of experience and we always take care of each other on and off the pitch.
Fun fact:
I modelled in this year’s Warwick fashion show!

What are you going to do with your new role?
As Social Sec I aim to maintain the strong sense of community that rugby has provided me and many others with and hopefully plan so many fun rugby and inter society events throughout the next year. Hopefully we will see some great costumes at circle as well!
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
Everybody here is so welcoming and open to people of all abilities. There’s always someone to talk to.
Fun fact:
Not very good with directions (got me and three flatmates 40 mins late to the first two taster sessions in term two)

What are you going to do with your new role?
As social sec I plan to put together some really fun non-alcoholic socials that fit everyone’s different schedules (games nights, escape rooms, meals etc), alongside our normal circles and maybe a bar crawl or two!

The fantastic team spirit on and off the pitch

I used to have a pet pigeon

What are you going to do with your new role?
As Vice Captain I will be working with the Captain and Coach to help maintain the standards of our club and lead the team during games and training.
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
The club’s ethos is amazing! The teamwork and inclusivity makes it so that no matter your ability or experience, there is a place for everyone.
Fun fact:
My favourite band is Catfish and the Bottlemen!

What are you going to do with your new role?
As Captain I plan to lead the team to victory on pitch and support Jas our coach at training.
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
The people, this is the most supportive, fun and committed group that I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of.
Fun fact:
I sat next to Usain Bolt for over half an hour without realising, despite several people coming over and asking for pictures

What are you going to do with your new role?
As Treasurer I plan to ensure all things financially related run smoothly, manage sponsorships and aid the other execs/members wherever I’m needed!
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
The people! Everyone is so welcoming and fun to be around with. It makes the sport so much more fun to play!
Fun fact:
I am a HUGE grey’s anatomy fan :D

GENERAL SECRETARY: Adedolapo Anjorin

What are you going to do with your new role?
As General Secretary I plan to be super organised, keep in contact with new and current rugby players, help sort out our home game referees, and help with the kit orders. I am also always happy to help the exec in anything else that needs to get done
Favourite thing about WWRFC:
The team is very inclusive. We also know how to have a good time.
Fun fact:
I can do the splits with my right leg forward, but not my left leg forward
