Can we kindly ask all parents, spectators and fighters to avoid standing on the edge of the ring, and please do NOT lean on the ropes.

The last ring got damaged as the tension on the ropes was lost over time due to people leaning on the ropes. The rope tensioners will only tighten so far. Once they can't be tightened any further there will be no way to tighten the ropes, leaving sagging ropes which is dangerous for the fighters.

Standing on the ring when fighters are in the ring poses a tripping hazard.

Please do NOT lean on the ropes.

Please do NOT stand on the ring.

The only people allowed in or on the ring at any one time are the fighters and coaches.

Evolution Boxing Academys new Ring has had the floor upgraded and strengthened.

Removed canvas, foam matts, floor boards and secured steel frame to floor with high quality expanding foam, double bolted all the bolts around frame, then placed high quality anti-movement silicone adhesive on top of all frames before placing boards back on, then drilling holes through steel frame across all joints and edges and screwing it down tightly, with silicone adhesive along all joints.

Replaced flooring, and canvas, then tested by the fighters.

The floor is solid with good "bounce".

This rings base is now possibly the most secure and solid base in Britain, possibly even the world.
