🚨 OPEN TRAINING SESSIONS 🚨
In preparation for the 2021-22 season, the NIHL Blaze would be interested to hear from anyone who is interested in trialling for the team for next season.
The trial process will be via a series of open training sessions throughout July.
With the NIHL structure for 2021-22 season still yet to be confirmed by the EIHA we continue to plan based on the fact that the team will, once again, play in NIHL Division 2 North.
Anyone interested in attending the the open training sessions should email head coach, Sean Alderson ([email protected]) to register their interest.

NIHL BLAZE SET TO RETURN TO TRAINING
Following the easing of restrictions last week the NIHL Blaze are set to return to training tomorrow night and having been unable to train for 8 months they plan to train throughout the spring/summer months in preparation for next season.

EXCITING NEWS !!!
We are pleased to announce that we have made the application for Coventry NIHL Blaze to return to competitive hockey for the 2020/21 season.
Obviously we are all still under government restrictions but rest assured there is lots of work going on behind the scenes to ensure that when we are able to return to the ice, we will be up and running quickly.
Therefore we would like anyone who wishes to be considered for the team to register their interest with Head Coach Sean Alderson as soon as possible.

It is with great sadness that we must announce the withdrawal of Coventry NIHL Blaze from the North D2 league.
It is such a shame that this has happened as the last two seasons under Coach Sean Alderson’s lead we have gone from strength to strength , competing with some of the top teams and even taking points, we were hoping that this season we would be competing for a play off spot , but this was not meant to be.
We have tried our best to replace a large number of players who have left us but with such a short time scale it has been an impossible task.
We thank all those players who did trial but we simply didn't have enough to make the season financially viable.
Special thanks go to those players who have stuck with us and tried to make this work.
Our heartfelt gratitude must also go to all the sponsors and volunteers who turn up week in , week out to support the team.
Hopefully we can rebuild over the next twelve months but only time will tell.
