Shelly Academy Of Dance

On Sunday our competition team took part in the FSD festival and what a great day we had!

Every age group danced their hearts out and showed growth in their technique and performance. For some girls it was their very first festival which I thought they took in their stride and did themselves and me proud!

It was a very busy day with lots of dances back to back (hence why I didn’t manage to get many photos!) but each and every dancer gave it their all and made me very proud!

We currently have a few spaces in our Beginners Acrobatics class and this is the perfect time to join in time for our show in December!

The Junior Bs,Inters and Seniors had such a lovely time performing at ‘This is our time’ at the Albany theatre yesterday!
A collaboration of local dance schools- giving the children such a special experience.
Every dancer made me so proud and it was lovely to see all the hard work in lessons and rehearsals come together for a brilliant result!
Lots of lovely compliments from other teachers and audience members too!

Mini Movers 💙
This lovely lot have been working so hard at perfecting their ballet technique recently. Showing beautifully stretched feet, neat first positions and soft and gentle hands.
They have also been making great progress in their Tap lessons practicing matching rhythms from their hands to their feet.
