Some moments in life seem ordinary when they happen… until years later, you look back and realise that was the moment everything changed. 🌱

I’m incredibly proud of Raj, Manny, the entire Story & Motion team, and everyone at Gracie Barra for bringing this incredible project to life. 👏🏼❤️

On 28th September 2021, during the early days of our podcast, we filmed our second conversation with Professor Braulio Estima.

During that podcast, Professor Braulio spoke about planting seeds, how every tree starts with a single seed, how we are all connected through its roots, and how beautifully that analogy represents Jiu Jitsu, our community, our relationships and the legacy we leave behind 🔺

What we didn’t realise at the time was that another seed was being planted that day💙

A seed that would eventually grow into the telling of Professor Braulio’s story🙌🏼

Five years later, seeing that idea become a reality is genuinely emotional🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

It’s a reminder that sometimes we plant seeds without knowing where they will lead. We nurture them, we believe in them, and eventually, with time, hard work and the right people around us, they begin to grow.

Professor Braulio, your journey is more than just a story about Jiu Jitsu.

It’s a story of sacrifice, resilience, brotherhood, family, belief and legacy.

You have inspired generations through your journey, and I know this story will inspire generations to come.

I’m incredibly proud that we were there when the seed was first planted, and even prouder to see Raj, Manny and the Story & Motion team bring it to life in such a powerful way.
