PARTNERWORK & PIECE DEVELOPMENT with Junior Cunningham

Take part in a morning class featuring movement phrases based on a multitude of styles, transitioning into partnering technique, helping to build skills and shape work done in the second portion of the workshop. In the afternoon, Junior will guide the session deeper through Contact Tasks, facilitating a creative space where partnership is used to explore ideas currently being researched in his work. Join us for a challenging and creatively rewarding session. 💫

Junior has been a dancer for nearly three decades & has devoted his career to all elements from performing to teaching and creating. He has a deep-rooted foundation in Contact Improvisation & Partnering work, with a love for all things movement-based, drawing inspiration from the world around him. Junior is looking to move into the creative phase of his career with aspirations of making thought-provoking works that hold a mirror up to the society we have created.
