Wu's Tai Chi Chuan Academy, Toronto - 50th Anniversary Celebrations! 1st day of the celebrations commenced with a banquet in Toronto's iconic King Edward Hotel. Thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a remarkable and memorable grand occasion!
Our programme included a concert performance and demonstrations showcasing the Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan hand forms, push hands and weapons forms - 24 spear form, 13 spear form, sabre, sword, twin sword, sparring sword.

This Wednesday 16th Aug a chance to try a free Wu style tai chi session in Coventry's Lakeview Park as part of the Family Activity Day. Sessions 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm and 3:15 pm - 3:45 pm.
All are welcome - no previous knowledge/experience required, but existing tai chi practitioners/players also very welcome.
The sessions are free of charge but to manage/control numbers, please get a free ticket through the eventbrite link.

Enjoy a short free outdoor Summer Solstice
Tai Chi taster session in the beautiful grounds of Coventry's historic Chartehouse beside the river Sherbourne.
I will be teaching a 30 minute approx taster session at 10 am on Wednesday 21st June followed by herbal tea and an optional tour of the restored Charterhouse.
It will be suitable for all levels of experience.
The event is supported by the Warwickshire Wildlife Fund and the National Lottery.

I'll be teaching Friday 22nd at Coventry Canal Basin - short ( 15 - 20 minute approx) sessions as part of Roam and Dwell at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm.
I hope to include some of the movements from the 12 movement form shown below as well as touching on balance, breathing, looseness and posture in the short sessions.
The twelve movement form executed by a group from the Singapore Jian Chuan Tai Chi Association and Grand Master Eddie Wu Kwong Yu and Master Cynthia Wu.
