My 6 week challenge closes this Sunday.

DM me “FOOD” if you want to know what to eat, without thought but also without being prisoner to a boring and bland meal plan 🥲
Because although you want someone “to telll you what to eat” I promise you, when that happens you really don’t
So try my system instead and find out how easy it can truly be

Because in every weight loss attempt, you’ve always slipped up when progrsss slowed
This is exactly how I worked with my client Jemma who experienced the very same thing

I was what I describe as a closet alcoholic.
I never identified as one.
Because I didn’t fall into categories like drinking in public, or drinking in the mornings or constantly going out searching for a drink
Instead, I’d make plans in my head to have a drink every weekend, knowing that it wasn’t one.
It was because I wanted to feel that giddyness and feel good feeling I only got at the time when I had alcohol
It started off with one or two.
It ultimately finished with me getting blind drunk in my flat alone 2-3 nights a week.
It continued to progress where I’d do it more nights “just to relax”
And alongside self injury, this made it even easier to justify. Because least my drinking isn’t that bad.
It’s normal for people to cope with this right?
Fast forward nearly 2 years since I last had a drink.
I don’t avoid it because I can’t control myself now.
I choose not to have it because I don’t actually get a high from it.
I only ever covered up my really emotions and escaped from my reality with it.
And it felt easier to do because it’s normal in society.
I oddly find it harder nowadays to tell people this is my choice because I know I’ll often be the odd one out
But I know it’s more important to listen to my experiences and decisions I’ve made based upon them.
Drinking really did worsen my mental health.
And I choose not to place that upon myself anymore.
And I think this is the hardest thing about anything, for example losing weight or breaking away from an abusive relationship with food.
It’s easy to feel like you’re the odd one out by choosing yourself
But I always remind myself of this…
I’m the one who lives in my body and deals with the consequences.
So I’ll choose the actions I want to benefit my body regardless of other peoples opinions
Once you learn to separate from other peoples opinions, it’s a lot easier just acting for yourself.
So when you’re worried about being the odd one out, just remember you’re acting for you and your future self
