Last night we had our long awaited awards night for the 25/26 season at Pretty Marys Bar Foodhouse Moira

The 25/26 season was a fabulous season with plenty of highs, great wins, amazing performances and team togetherness. With a lot of changes happening at the start of the season with personnel, bonds were formed quite quickly and improvements were happening all over the court as the season progressed. We as a club could not have asked for better from everyone involved.

Thank you to every single person that has been involved with the Lakers on and off the court - every contribution is vital to keep the club running and we appreciate all the efforts.

Although the season didn’t end quite how we had hoped, we couldn’t be prouder of what this team has achieved throughout the 25/26 Northern Ireland Wheelchair Basketball League season.

Finishing 3rd is a massive achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, commitment, and determination shown by everyone involved all season long. 💪🏀

A huge thank you to Pablo,DSNI & all the referees for organising and delivering a fantastic season of wheelchair basketball. Your hard work and support for the sport is hugely appreciated.
