Training sessions every wednesday @ cramlington sporting club for children aged 6-18.

Cramlington Vikings Basketball Club is an official partner of the Eagles Community Foundation and provides Basketball coaching for boys and girls at age levels U6s, U8s, U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s and U18s. We provide children of all ages the opportunity to take part Basketball at Cramlington Sporting Club

The weekly training times are:

U8s/U10s - Wednesday 5-6pm

U12s - Wednesday 6-7pm

U14s - Wednesday 7-8pm

U16s - Wednesday 8-9pm

U18s - Wednesday 9-10pm

U6s/U8s - Thursday 5-6pm

Girls Only - Thursday 7:30pm - 8:30pm @ The Lakeside Centre

🏀 CVL WEEKEND COMPLETE! ⚔️

A huge weekend of basketball for the Vikings, with teams from U8s all the way through to U18s taking to the court!

It was brilliant to see so many of our young players representing the Vikings, competing, developing and enjoying their basketball across every age group.

A massive thank you to all of our players, coaches, parents and supporters who made another busy CVL weekend possible. 👏

Plenty of basketball. Plenty of development. ⚔️

📸 VIKINGS PHOTOSHOOT DAY 📸

Yesterday was our club photoshoot day! 🏀📸

We had the brilliant Chris Ord from Chris Ord Stills and Videos join us to capture some fantastic shots of our Vikings players.

Every player was amazing, and it was great to see so many of our Vikings getting involved and enjoying the experience! 🙌

A massive thank you to Chris, who was absolutely brilliant with all of the players throughout the shoot. We couldn't be more grateful to him for giving up his time and coming along to take the photos for us.

Now we just have to wait for the finished shots… 👀📸

We can't wait to see them all! 🏀

A massive congratulations to all of our Cramlington Vikings MVPs from this weekend! 🧡🖤
Across the club, we saw some fantastic performances, brilliant effort and plenty of players stepping up for their teams. Whether it was scoring, defending, rebounding, creating for teammates or simply bringing great energy and attitude, our MVPs all made their mark. 💪🏀
MVP isn’t just about points on the scoreboard — it’s about effort, teamwork, attitude and making a difference when you’re on the court.

🏀 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR OUR VIKINGS! 🏀

Our first weekend back for our Vikings teams — and what a weekend it was! 🔥

We saw some amazing basketball across all of our teams, with brilliant performances, some fantastic wins and, most importantly, plenty of lessons learned along the way. Whether it was a win or a loss, every game gave our players another opportunity to learn, develop and keep getting better. 💪🏀

🌟 Highlight of the week has to be our brand-new U8s and U10s Girls teams! 🌟

Across BOTH teams, only ONE player had ever played CVL basketball before — for everyone else, this was their very first experience!

And they were AMAZING! 🙌

The confidence, effort, teamwork and smiles were brilliant to see. Watching them step onto the court, compete and enjoy their first games in a Vikings shirt was something really special.

A huge well done to every single player who represented the Vikings this weekend, and a massive thank you to all of our coaches, parents and supporters! 👏

The Vikings are back… and we’re only getting started! 🏀🔥

As some of you might know last week was Wendy's last week at the club

Everyone at the Vikings would like to say a massive THANK YOU to Wendy for her incredible dedication and commitment to the club over the past 5 years.

Wendy has given so much of her time and energy to the Vikings, whether it’s been helping organise and run fundraisers, coaching training sessions, coaching games, or simply being there whenever the club needed an extra pair of hands.

Most importantly, Wendy has played a huge part in the growth and development of the Vikings, helping us become the club and community we are today.

Five years of volunteering, coaching, supporting and giving your time to others is something we are incredibly grateful for. Your contribution has made a real difference to so many players, coaches and families along the way.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for the Vikings, Wendy. You’ll always be part of the Vikings family! 🏀

Every season, we recognise two players who have consistently demonstrated outstanding performances, dedication, commitment and leadership throughout the year. These awards celebrate not only their ability on the court, but also the attitude and example they set for everyone around them.

A huge congratulations to our 2025/26 Club MVPs:
