I’m going back & I need your help!
In 2022 I only had a week available, so I hiked the first 100 miles of the Pennine Way, from Edale to Horton, and promised myself I’d go back and finish it some day…
Since then, a lot of life has happened, and it’s taken until now for me to feel ready to go back. And like a woman seemingly intent on making life harder than in needs to be, I’m starting right back at the beginning, walking all 268 miles from Edale to Kirk Yetholm this summer, carrying a tent and camping along the way!
While I’m walking I’ll also be raising money for Cancer Research UK in memory of a friend who sadly died before his time.
In our lifetimes we will likely all come into contact with cancer, either directly or through the experience of friends or family, so if you are able to add a donation of any amount to my fund-raising page I know it will be put to good use -

I am six years out from my own diagnosis - almost to the day - and I am so grateful that I am still here and able to live out my dream to walk the spine of Britain. Maybe my story would be different without the work of Cancer Research UK? Please support me and help them to continue their valuable work, so that the next person who needs it might have more time to live out their dreams too.
