Bit Racing

Day 2 of Baja Ferraria is in the books, and Bit Racing had a mix of emotions out on the stages today.

🏁 Roberto Borrego delivered another strong performance, securing 3rd place, while Sergio Palminha finished the day in a solid 5th position.

Unfortunately, Mr. Américo Rolo’s day came to an early end with a DNF after his car decided it wasn’t built to swim through today’s water crossings. Tough luck, but that’s rally raid.

On the quads side, Luis Fernandes achieved an amazing 2nd place finish — an impressive result for a rider who hasn’t been able to properly train or prepare for races due to work commitments. Huge effort and determination on display today. 💪🔥

Day 1 @ Baja ferraria

This weekend didn’t go as planned — it turned into a true test of resilience.

was leading the race all the way to km 175, showing incredible pace and control, until a mechanical failure forced him out. We had made a change to the rear sway bar and were still in the testing phase — unfortunately, it didn’t hold up when it mattered most.

saw his race end early at km 30 after hitting a massive rock. Sometimes the smallest moments have the biggest consequences, and this time, it was enough to damage the rear of the car beyond repair.

fought hard through the entire race despite multiple punctures, pushing through adversity to finish in 20th place — a result that doesn’t reflect the effort and determination shown.

Motorsport can be brutal, but it’s also what makes every victory meaningful.

A huge congratulations to Afonso and Dani on their first win with the Polaris Pro R on the new championship and class— a well-deserved and impressive achievement. It was an incredible race to witness.

We regroup, we learn, and we come back stronger.

Tomorrow, we go all in: 200+ km to truly start the race.

There is something in the air of the North that make us this race a very tough and different one from the “others”

Both of this riders are participating on the part of their national progam in Portugal!

The boys are back in The North to show their driving skills with their Polaris Pro R and also the mini Polaris Rzr 200. Full of style, full of adrenaline and ready to take on the prologue today in a couple hours!
