Given yesterday's Government announcement that exercising in a group of more than 2 people is no longer permitted, I am sure it will come as no surprise that this directly impacts the ability to train and play rugby.
Whilst we all miss the sport that we love and sharing time with the friends that we have made as a result of it, our personal health and safety must remain the primary priority. Please see below today's announcement from the RFU confirming that all community rugby in England - for both youth and adults - has rolled back to Stage A on the Return to Rugby Roadmap, clubs must again close their facilities and consequently all group training is suspended until further notice.
I have attached a copy of the full Return to Rugby Roadmap for anyone who is not familiar with it.
On a more positive note however the below also includes links to a number of YouTube training videos covering sessions that can be done at home. Each one runs for around 20 mins and as you will see they are aimed primarily at youth players... however those of us who are still kids at heart can also benefit from them!
As always, whilst we may not currently be able to meet up in person, the club remains here for you. If you need any help or support as we ride this latest lockdown period together please do not hesitate to let me, or one of the other committee members, know.
All the best

This week's Motivational Monday:
The Crawley Jets are learning more and more each week and are incredibly grateful for all of the support we have from Crawley Rugby Club, our coaches, eachother and all of our social media supporters. With more hard work, over time we will become an even stronger team and we are looking forward to what the future has in store for us.

Its Motivational Monday again!
The Jets absolutely love Wheelchair Rugby, learning, achieving and having fun, all while being surrounded by a warm and welcoming social group. We hope that we'll be able to welcome new players to the team to share the amazing opportunity that we are all currently experiencing.
We hope that you all have a good week.
The team will be working hard at training again tonight in preparation for more friendlies in the near future 👨🏼🦽🏐

Bit of a late Motivational Monday post but it's never too late for something positive. Just a quick reminder to everyone to never give up, whether its wheelchair rugby or anything else that's going on for you. Hope you all have a good week! 😃

Crawley Jets are looking for more players - no experience necessary!
Wheelchair Rugby was designed as a mixed team sport for male and female quadriplegic athletes.
Now, paraplegic and players with other disabilities can play the new 5's discipline alongside quadraplegic players.
Please get in touch if you want to come try it out!
