Little Owlet’s Childminding

From September there will be new rules in place for safer sleeping in the EYFS.
We use cots for the youngest and everyone else has now transitioned to sleep mats where they each have their own fitted sheet and cellular blanket for nap time.
They have all taken to the change far better than we expected and some now happily walk over to their mats, lie down and settle themselves to sleep 💤 💤

We will be joining lots of friends on the big toddle to raise money for Barnardos Charity, any support big or small would be great appreciated 💚

A lovely walk and visit to the ducks this morning! We were actually greeted by lots of geese and even came across the cutest baby goslings! The children were so excited to see them and feed them. Ella spotted a terrapin which the children were also fascinated by, meaning they also learnt a new word!

This week 🤗

This morning we spent the morning with lots of friends in the fresh air! It was a tad windy which made it perfect for flying kites. We did some beautiful artwork on the cardboard boxes, ran around, kicked balls, climbed through the tunnel and balanced on the stepping stones. We all enjoyed getting the instruments out and singing some songs together too 🎶🎶

The children are loving our new soft play slide set! Brilliant for exercising those gross motor skills and building up their muscles for climbing as well as confidence!

Monday! Cars and Dinos, toddler group with a visit from Springfit and happy birthday to L at singing time. Water play in the garden keeping us cool this afternoon ☀️💦
L surprised us today doing lots of walking that she’s been practicing over the weekend! 👏🏻

Thursday ⭐️ fun at toddler group followed by an afternoon in the garden. Lovely watching some friendships forming as the younger ones really start to interact with eachother; passing toys and playing peekaboo 🥰
