Did you know that you don’t have to be a member or hotel guest to dine with us in the Phoenix Bar & Restaurant? 🍴

Our restaurant and bar is open to everyone – whether you’re joining us for breakfast, popping in for lunch, meeting friends for a coffee or enjoying dinner and drinks.

You don’t need to play golf, belong to the club or be staying at the hotel. Just come along, take a seat and enjoy good food in our lovely countryside setting.

Along with most of the country, Cottesmore is looking a little more golden than green at the moment🌾⛳

These images give a glimpse behind the scenes at just how carefully our Greenkeeping Team need to manage water during this prolonged dry spell. We only use water collected by the reservoirs through our rainwater harvesting system and don‘t use mains water on the courses, which significantly reduces our water consumption.

At the moment, watering is focused solely on our greens, where it’s needed most. Our fairways and even tee boxes are being allowed to follow the natural conditions, helping us make the best possible use of the water available. These areas are fine without water during these dry months.

While we all love seeing a beautifully green golf course, we recognise when nature needs to take the lead. The grass is remarkably resilient and, when the rain eventually returns, so will that familiar Cottesmore green. 🌱

In the meantime, our team continues to work incredibly hard to care for the courses while maintaining sustainability.

But if anyone happens to know a good rain dance… now might be the time! 🌧️😂

MORE HYROX. MORE CLASSES. MORE OPPORTUNITIES. 💪

HYROX at Cottesmore is growing!

From Friday 28th August, all HYROX sessions will become part of our official class timetable, giving members six opportunities every week to get involved:

🏋️ Monday: 9:00am & 6:00pm
🏋️ Tuesday: 6:30am & 5:00pm
🏋️ Thursday: 9:00am
🏋️ Friday: 7:00am

Each class will have 12 member spaces, bookable in the usual way.

Never tried HYROX before? Don’t be put off by the name! HYROX training is suitable for all fitness levels, and you don’t need to be preparing for an event to take part. Expect a motivating mix of strength, endurance and functional fitness — all while training alongside others.

Fancy taking it a step further? 🏃
If you’re thinking about entering your first HYROX event, come and chat to us. We can help you choose the right event, guide you through the entry process and even buddy you up with someone of a similar ability if you’d like to compete as a pair.

And why not bring a friend? 👋
There will also be 6 visitor spaces in every class, so friends and family can come along and experience HYROX at Cottesmore too.

This Afternoon Tea Week, we're celebrating one of Britain's favourite traditions. ☕🍰

Freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade sweet treats and a pot of your favourite tea, all served in the welcoming surroundings of the Phoenix Bar & Restaurant. Gather your favourite people and make an excuse for an afternoon tea.
