What a lovely morning at St Fillans golf course for today’s September medal. Last few remaining tee times for next Saturday’s Gents Open….just saying….

It isn’t always all about the golf, but when it is we still have a few spaces remaining for our Gents Open on Saturday 5th September. Catering from Deli Eats will be available all day.

A glorious morning for the Monday/ Wednesday 9 hole league, the course is in fantastic condition, come along and see for yourself - tee times are still available for our Gents Open on Saturday 5 September, get in touch: [email protected] when they are full they are full!

Wow! what a fantastic day we've had for our Sandy Lyle Charity Day raising money & awareness for the Brain Tumour Charity. There are so many folk to say thank you to for all your hard work, generosity in donating Auction Lots and for the very generous bids we have received. Big thank you to John Myles for all his work giving us a course to be proud of. Deli Eats for the fantastic catering and especially the BBQ. Thanks to our team of volunteers (you know who you are) for all the hard work involved in the set up, on the day and the clearing up afterwards - we couldn't do it without you. A massive thank you to Sandy Lyle for being with us for the day, providing endless photo ops & spending so much time with the competing golfers. Our congratulations to the winning team 'The Soggy A**es" - (wouldn't like to upset FB🤐) and great to see two of the team members on the Sunday morning. Thank you to all our competitors for making it a special day to remember. Our heartfelt thanks to Gordon Hibbert for masterminding the whole event, keeping us beautifully on time and for being Mr SFGC Thank you!

And breathe! a fantastic weekend of golf at St Fillans. Saturday saw the finals of the club championships with Graeme Courtney and Jean Faichney Club Champions and Stevie Chalmers & Sally Crofts worthy runners up, well done to all involved and thanks to all who came along to support.
On Sunday we held our popular Kingshouse Open Scramble, a keenly competed contest with local members Martin Sanders & Graham Herd and their guests edging out two strong teams from Balfron. SFGC member Russell Dunn secured the NTP.
All in all a great weekend and our thanks to John Myles for a superbly presented course, Deli Eats for scrumptious catering and to Gordon Hibbert for ensuring everything ran to time with seamless ease.
Now all on preparation for our Sandy Lyle Charity Day on Saturday. Please have a look at our charity Auction Lots and help us raise a great amount for a very worthy cause. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
