Calling all 1st XI, 2nd XI, 3rd XI players, supporters, friends and family — it’s time to celebrate the 2026 season.

🇦🇺🏏 THANKS, STUBBO! 🏏🇦🇺

After two seasons at Crook Town Cricket Club , it’s time to say goodbye to our overseas player Liam “Stubbo” Stubbings as he heads back home to Australia.

Stubbo returns to Colts Phelans Cricket Club , where he’ll be taking on the role of captain for the upcoming season. We wish him every success as he heads home for his next challenge.

Over the last two years, Stubbo has been brilliant to have around the club both on and off the field.

His first season with Crook was unfortunately cut short through injury, but there was never any doubt that we wanted him back. This year he picked up exactly where he left off — ever reliable with the bat and always an effective option with his spin when called upon.

And the numbers speak for themselves...
