New season, new series.

We’re kicking things off with a fresh feature introducing the players who make up Crowborough RFC Senior Men’s Rugby.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be putting the spotlight on our players - giving you the chance to get to know the people behind the jerseys, on and off the pitch.

Expect a few questions, some interesting answers, plenty of banter, and a look at what makes our players tick. 👀

A word from 1st XV Captain Richard Tasker

Firstly, I just want to say how proud I am to accept the role of 1st XV captain at Crowborough.I’ve been at this club for a long time, so to now have the opportunity to lead the first team is a massive honour and something I’m genuinely very proud of.I’ll do my best to set the standards, work hard and make sure we all enjoy our rugby. I can’t promise we’ll win every game, but I can promise we’ll give it everything — and I’m sure we’ll have a few interesting explanations when things don’t go our way!Thanks to everyone who’s put their trust in me. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in with the boys, creating some good memories and, most importantly, working hard for each other and giving the club something to be proud of.Up the Crows!

Crowborough RFC are pleased to announce the signing of Rowan Bell, former Eastbourne College 1st XV captain and Sussex Colts centre.
Rowan: The players and coaches have been really welcoming and pre-season training has been very enjoyable. I’m now looking forward to my first season of adult rugby in Kent Counties 1.
