⚽🐺 MATCH UPDATE | CUMNOCK JUNIORS LADIES 🖤🤍

Cumnock Juniors Ladies 1–4 Stewarton
📍 Townhead Park
📅 Sunday 18th October 2026

Today’s match at Townhead Park was unfortunately abandoned following an injury to our player Laila.

With Stewarton leading 4–1, football quickly became secondary as everyone’s attention turned to Laila’s wellbeing.

Following the incident, Laila was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for assessment, and we’re absolutely delighted to confirm that she has since been discharged and is recovering well. ❤️

It was a frightening moment for everyone involved, but we’re incredibly relieved that Laila is back on her feet and doing well.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone at Stewarton for their help, understanding and compassion throughout the incident. The support shown to Laila today was truly appreciated and a reminder that some things are far bigger than football.

Thank you also to everyone who helped, checked in and sent their best wishes.

The result doesn’t matter today. What matters is that Laila is safe and well. 🖤🤍

From everyone at Cumnock Juniors Girls FC, we’re sending Laila lots of love and wishing her a continued speedy recovery.

🐺 Mon the Wolves! 🖤🤍

⚫️⚪️ U12 Black 2–1 Glenburn ⚪️⚫️

A fantastic performance from our U12 Black team yesterday, with every girl giving 100% on an energy-sapping morning.

Poppy grabbed both goals to secure the win, while Aria delivered a standout performance after being asked to captain the team from centre-back. She led by example throughout and was superb in defence.

The girls were very unlucky not to score more, but some excellent goalkeeping and last-gasp defending from Glenburn kept the score at 2–1.

A brilliant team effort—well done, girls! 🐺🖤🤍

Cumnock vs Stewarton

12/09/2026

This morning our U16s welcomed Larkhall for an early kick off at the Barony.

It was a difficult start for Cumnock, finding ourselves 3–0 down within the first 20 minutes. But the girls showed incredible character, dug deep and turned the game around, fighting their way back into it. 💪🏻

Despite the huge effort, the game eventually finished 5–4 to Larkhall.

A massive shout-out to every girl who turned up and gave everything today. We were down to a very depleted squad with only one substitute, and several girls battled through injuries to keep going. That level of commitment and determination deserves huge credit. 👏🏻

🌟 Special mention to Chantelle in goals! She has really stepped up her game and has put in two fantastic performances over the last couple of games. Absolutely brilliant, Chantelle, well deserved! 🧤👏🏻

⚽️ Today’s goals:
🥅 Aimee x2
🥅 Hayden
🥅 Molly

The result might not have gone our way, but the fight and effort shown by the girls certainly didn’t go unnoticed. 🖤🤍🐺

A tough morning away to Blantyre Celtic for our U14s.

The girls are going through a difficult run of luck at the moment, and Blantyre made things challenging from the opening ten minutes. Playing against the wind certainly didn’t help, but the team never gave up and continued to work hard until the final whistle.

Their determination was rewarded with two fantastic goals from Mollie and Darci to get Cumnock on the scoresheet. Plenty of character shown by the girls—we keep working, supporting one another and moving forward together. 🖤🤍🐺
