Good evening everyone 😀, Bruce here at Eden Springs 😀.

A quick update on opening times in the coming days 😉.

We have decided to open tomorrow morning at 8am for bank fishing only, on both Bull Stone and Little Eden 😀🎣.

We are seeing a settled window of approximately 6 hours from opening, before the nasty weather moves in 😉.

There will be plenty of rod availability during this time, therefore, should you fancy 'wetting a line' come and join us 😉.

The fishing on both waters has been exceptional lately 👌.

The Sauna will also be running as normal during these hours also and our Cafe will also be open 😉.

Please note however, that we will be fully closed this Sunday. We will monitor conditions and provide a further update, Tuesday looking uncertain 😉.

🔥 Thursday Night Drama 🔥

Please do not be alarmed if travelling into Eden Springs, we currently have a vehicle which has seen better days and situation has been dealt with by the emergency services.

We hope this will be all cleared within the next day or 2, but please be careful when arriving and exiting the Country Park.

Good evening everyone 😀, Bruce here at Eden Springs 😀.

Haven't posted in a while, just too busy, so much going on and so many 2027 projects already underway 😉.

And our anglers were out in force today 😀.

Beautiful conditions to spend a few hours relaxation on both the banks and boat today and the catch reports just kept coming throughout the day 😀.

Some notable returns included : Stuart, landing a cracking Brown estimated around 7lbs 👏, Steven landing 8 cracking fish 👏, Ewan landing 6 beauties off Little Eden 👏, Duncan (The B**g King 🤴) continuing to land fish after fish, following on from his 10 fish yesterday 👏 etc, etc 😀 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣.

Lots of varying tactics, including, lime green worms fished around 3ft under the B**g, mini Snakes 🐍, mini Bo***es, black and red Buzzers, Yellow Owls, Sedges, Daddys and Floating Fry 😀.

Here's a wee bit of footage I managed to squeeze in this afternoon 😀.

Please also remember, we have decided to close on Friday and Sunday, thus far, due to the Storm Systems forecast.
We are currently monitoring Saturday's forecast, although at present, remain open.

Planned Closures

Friday 23rd October and Sunday 25th October

Over the next few days and into this weekend, we are expecting to see 2 low pressure system arriving off the Atlantic over the next few days.

Storm 1 - Friday 23rd - Storm Austen

Mainly a rain/wet event, but it’s going to be substantial and persistent.

Storm 2 - Sunday 25th - Storm Boelo

This is a wind event, with forecasted Gusts within the ranges of 50-60mph, possibly higher accompanied by heavy rain fall.

Friday 23rd

We have taken the decision to close the Fishery and Cafe building all day. Please note- Wild Scottish Sauna will still be operating as normal on this day.

Sunday 25th

Full Fishery and Country Park
Closure.

With the projected winds and its uncertainty on the potential impact, we have taken the decision early on. Safety of customers, visitors and staff are our number one concern and we are going to let this pass.

We are keeping an eye on Saturday 24th but at the moment it’s looks like it’s going to be windy with little effects and will be operating as normal. If any changes occur, we will update accordingly.

Good evening everyone 😀, Bruce here at Eden Springs 😀.

I'M BACK and boy have I missed the place 😌.

Great turnout today, with some incredible fishing 🎣 on offer 👌 😀.

Rods bending everywhere, throughout the whole day 😎, in near perfect conditions 👌.

Catch returns included : Alan - 9, Scott and Rab - 10 (Edensmuir), Gary - 6, Alan F - 6, Duncan - 6 and losing a cracking Brown 🙉😂😆, lots of 2's, 3's and 4's, all in all, a fantastic day enjoyed by all 😀🎣😀.

Great way to get back in the groove 😉, I really enjoyed everyone's company today 😀.

The one thing I did notice today, were the amount of 'really large' fish heading and tailing throughout the whole day 😉.

I know where I'm heading on my day off tomorrow 😆 😉.

Good evening everyone 😀, Bruce here at Eden Springs 🤕.

Well, that was a terrific week off, hobbled 👨‍🦯 into A + E 🏥 5 days ago with a torn SARTORIOUS muscle 🤕.

Never mind, I'm on the mend 😉 and managed to pop in today and was met with a full bank of anglers, all enjoying some top quality angling in unseasonably warm autumn conditions 😀.

Even EDEN 🐕 welcomed me back with 'very strange' smile 🤔😆.

Chris had his 'Bob The Builder 👷‍♂️' hat on and was busy carrying out some major refurbishment work on the Cafe 😉😀.
You're all going to love it 😉❤️.

Our anglers enjoyed covering rising fish throughout the day, with some cracking Browns in amongst them, two crackers landed by DAVY and JOE 👏👏🎣🎣.

Haven't received an update on Edensmuir as yet, but will confirm catches tomorrow 😉.

Our residents are clearly feeding hard right now and with plenty rod availability throughout the coming days, I would suggest should you have a few hours to spare, come and have a few casts with us and see if you can work out just what our residents are sipping down right now 😉😀.

🎣Morning Anglers🎣

Beautiful Morning @ Eden Springs.

☀️Light winds, Perfect ripple and Dry

Plenty residents hitting the nets, with yesterday being a day for the Browns.

It was a day to remember for First time visitor, Ian who managed to land 5 brown trout, ranging from 3lb to 7lb all on daddies.

Notable catch and top rod, Stuart with a inpressibe hall of 20 to finish is session, tactically splitting his time between Little Eden and Bull Stone.

Top Flies -

Buzzers, Dries (daddies) pink snake, damsels and eggs.

Fancy a cast, plenty availability today and over the weekend.

Open from 8:00-17:00

Eden Springs Country Park & Fishery will be commencing 🥶 Winter Hours ❄️ from tomorrow, Wednesday, 1st October 2026.

Fishery operating from 8:00am - 17:00pm

General Public , Wild Swimmers & Sauna Visitors, please be vacated from the park before this time.

Gates open 8:00am
Gates Close 17:00pm

Coffee Shop operating times -

10:30am - 15:30pm / 7days a week.

❗️No Parking at Entrance Gates at ANY TIME❗️

(please note, Eden Springs Country Park is our home, we live on site and require access 24/7 as well as the farm lands, surrounding the area.
We have children and access for security is prohibited outwith our operating times)

Good evening everyone 😀, Bruce here at Eden Springs 😀.

As soon as we all enjoyed a beautiful autumn 🍂 sunrise 🌅 this morning, our residents were awoken by an army of keen anglers 🎣😎.

Immediately, there were rods bending everywhere I looked, with Steven landing 10 fish in his first hour 👏🎣, Stuart landing 8, Gary 6, Alan 6 etc, etc 😳.

Yesterday, Duncan had 22 and Alex 13 😳.

I just couldn't keep up with the numbers today 🙉🙉🙉.

Gary had yet another stunning Brown 😍.

Both Bull Stone and Little Eden are on fire 🔥 🔥.

Edensmuir, on the other hand, was proving more challenging, although the bright conditions and swirling winds weren't helping, pushing the fish right down.

Another glorious day's angling enjoyed by every single angler 😀.

More of the same tomorrow 😉.

I'll have the gates open for 8am sharp 😎.
